Lawrenceville, Georgia has so many things to do for the residents that call it home and those who are just visiting.

Looking for a fun day for the whole family? Check out Liberty Books with something to read for any age group and any interest! Once you have a great book to read, take a short walk to Boulder Creek Coffee Company for a snack and drink. This is the perfect cafe for spending some time with a good book and an even better coffee.

No kids? Have a fun time with friends doing a beer tasting at Slow Pour Brewing! The wide variety of flavors and styles make it a great place for any beer lover. Grab yourself a flight of local brews to sample a bunch of them while joining in on one of their fun events like trivia or corn hole.

After all the fun and games, you're going to be hungry. Here are a few of our favorite restaurants in Downtown Lawrenceville.

Start your weekend off right with brunch at Local Republic! This Lawrenceville hot spot is a go-to for residents and visitors alike. They take the classics like a chicken biscuit or eggs Benedict and elevate them like only Local Republic knows how. To top it all off, they offer brunch cocktails like the Bacon Bloody Mary or Bottomless Mimosas.

Looking for a latin flare? Check out D'Floridian for some amazing Cuban cuisine. Start your meal with the tostones rellenos with shrimp! These savory plantains make for the perfect sharing dish. Follow it up with a classic Cubano or the succulent Mango Salmon. Be sure to join them for live music and dancing!

Uncle Jack's Tavern features high end gastropub style food and top of the line steaks. Now open for weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner, Jack's Tavern is the perfect spot for a birthday dinner, brunch date, or just straight up delicious food. We recommend getting the bacon appetizer which is served with their homemade peanut butter. Or if you are looking for a healthier option, order the Brussel Sprouts. They are some of the best we've ever had and are a must order every time we visit.
